The search criteria available are National Drug Code (NDC), Date Of Service (DOS), and Drug Name. Search options include a Sounds Like field and the number of records to be displayed at a time. The user enters data into one or more fields to match the drug that they are searching for, and clicks Search to retrieve a list of matching drugs. The user can click Clear to clear all field entries.

When multiple drug records match the search criteria, the retrieved drug data is displayed in a Drug Search Results list at the bottom of the Drug Search panel. The Drug Search Results displays the NDC, Brand Name, Generic Name, Dose Strength, Dose Form, Package Size, HCPCS, End Date and Rebateable.
